New-zealand_Internship abroad

Hello everyone !
We are two french students in electrical engineering at INSA Lyon. In order to finish our study and get our diploma, we need to complete a 4 to 6 months internship abroad. We would really like to go in New Zealand as this country seems to be amazing.
We already have experience as we make our study in a work-study program so it is half courses, half job. We are both working automation, one in the company EDF and the other at Assystem.
We knew each other through university and we're close now. We have a lot in common : we like music especially rock and punk, we both draw and write articles or stories. We also like nature, plants and animals which is another reason why we want to go to New Zealand !

So far, all of our research is unsuccessful so we decided to post a message here. If one of you guys knows of some opportunities, don't hesitate to share it with us. We would be so grateful !
