Looking for Head Teacher for Early Years Education Center
Salary: 300.000 JPY / Month
We are in search of an outstanding teacher, motivator and communicator, with excellent interpersonal skills to partner with us to provide a challenging, stimulating and a well-organized daily learning environment to small groups of children aged 1-6 years old.

Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Education, Psychology, Nursing, Social Sciences or related field.
- At least 3 years working experience with children from ages 1-6yrs old.
- Fluency in English and have good command of Japanese and another language.
- Full time availability to work all year around.
- Hold a valid VISA to work in Japan.
What will be expected from you?
- Design, implement and evaluate the curricula for children 1-6 years old on a monthly basis, incorporating play, creativity, themes and projects based on the Finnish ECEC Curriculum guidelines, international standards and integrating the Moomin Characters.
- Promote the integral development of children through the creation of healthy, protected, welcoming and rich environments in all learning.
- Plan and teach creative holiday camps and workshops.
Implement the Finnish educare system at every moment of the children's learning process.
- Keep a fluid communication with parents throughout the school's channels on a regular and confidential basis.
- Keep a portfolio of work for each child in the group and produce regular updates for parents
- Attend and actively participate in open house, family visits and marketing events for the kindergarten to attract new families during days, evenings or weekends when required.
- Other responsibilities as they may arise.

- Recognize opportunities with children with enthusiasm and confidence, taking notes and keeping a file for each child.
- Ability to work independently and be a self-starter who is passionate about learning and loves to work with children.
- Excellent knowledge and interest to learn about play in early childhood education, Finland and Scandinavia and the education systems, integrating that into the daily curriculum.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, who loves to work with people.
- Be dedicated, energetic and have a passion for growing with the kindergarten through the next stage of growth.
