TRIP LEADER English / German

Edu-Culture Immersion (ECI) has been organizing high quality language programs for the past 25 years in Europe. Our clients are usually American high school students, aged 15-18. We are looking for a Trip Leader for our upcoming group program in Germany this summer.

The trip consists this year of 14 American students and their teacher. There will be a 2-week German language immersion part, where students stay with local host families in Heidelberg and then the group will travel and go on a 5-touring part, visiting various cities in the South and stay in hotels overnight; Rothenburg ob de Tauber, Munich, Vaduz Liechtestein, Bern and Baden Baden.

We are looking for a highly organized indivdual, who's kind, service-orientated and interested in other cultures or has an affinity with American culture, who stays calm and can handle stress, if issues may arrise.

You need to be at least 24 years old, fluent in German and have a B2 level of English.
We prefer if possible a local person who knows Heidelberg and surroundings well. A great opportunity for a (former) German or international student.

Your job will be to coordinate and implement the prepared itinerary and make sure that all activities take place (there are afternoon activities, monument visits and daytrips in and from Heidelberg).
You will liase with the American teacher and providers to coordinate the program in all its details according to itinerary. You will look after the wellbeing of the client and together with the company, solve any issues that may arise during the trip

Dates: June 13- July 3 (20 days, full availability)
Payment: €1800
This a trip based project, we're looking for a Freelancer. Long term collaborations very much possible (every year)
All costs during the touring part (hotels, food, activities) will be paid by ECI.
