I am an American theatre artist who has been directing theatre in Kochi for five years, and while I have had very good translators, I would like to learn Malayalam. All over Kochi advertisements abound for learning English, but I have never seen any classes or tutoring for learning Malayalam.

Malayalam is not much difficult language to learn and lots of foreigners are learning and trying to speak in Malayalam. At least you try to speak "Namaskaram".
